Info from Gabriola Island shows him there in 1920 and facts suggest a death in 1955.
Harriet Pick suggested they were fruit farmers from Ross-in-Wye.
Gabriola info showed he was a farmer on the island.

John married Mabel Bentley, daughter of Charles Henry T. Bentley and Martha Baldwin. (Mabel Bentley was born in Sep 1883 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England and died on 3 Feb 1965 in Nanaimo, BC, Canada.)

Was spinster in 1936, but probate in Gabriola shows her with Walley name
