10/8/09 (From Katy Wright) Sidney met Gertrude when they both worked at Maxstoke Castle, Warwickshire -he was the chauffeur and she was a maid. They moved to Birmingham, where he wroked for the LLoyd family as a chauffer), the family that started Lloyds Bank.

Don't know where name came from but FreeBMD has marriage and has the son.
10/6/09 Katy Wright says spelling is Sidney but FreeBMD for marriage clearly has Sydney. Pending to resolve.
10/8/09 Found birth on FreeBMD in Winslow after Katy Wright said they came from Drayton Parslow and Sidney was spelled with "i" so changed Sydney to Sidney Leonard as L was shown as Leonard.

Sidney married Gertrude May Chilton, daughter of William Henry Chilton and Harriet Ing, in Sep 1910 in St John the Baptist, Hammerwich, Staffs. (Gertrude May Chilton was born in Sep 1887 in Hammerwich, Stafford, England and died in 1948.)
