Notes written by Steve Pick 1977:
Married Charles Colburn and they had a son Fred. She later moved to North London to live with her son but did not get on well with here daughter-in-law. Her early retirement was spent living in Morecambe where her niece Harriet Bancroft visited.
1881 census shows her living with family in Huddersfield, employment dressmaker
8/21/09 Paper I found, probably from Eli shows birth places as Whinns Wood Houses and Hannah Marie, not Maria which I had.
4/28/10 W Pick diary 7/19/51. "Had letter from Cousin Fred telling us his aunt Maria passed aweay yesterday at 89"

William Pick diary entry 19 July 1951. Letter from cousin Fred, Aunt Maria passed away yesterday at the age of 89. There was a post mortem as she had been quite well lately

• 1901 Census Morecambe Colburn Charles: Hannah M. Colburn wife aged 39 born Keighley, 31 Mar 1901, 20 Grafton Road, Morecambe, Lancashire. ³⁶⁰

• 1911 Census Morecambe Colburn: Hannah Maria Colburn wife married aged 49 born Keighley, 2 Apr 1911, 17 Yorkshire St. Morecambe, Lancs. ³⁶¹

• Meeting with brother Eli: Eli went with Bill Pick and family in car to Morecambe to visit his sitser, 7 Oct 1945, Morecambe, Lancashire, England. ³⁶²

• Health status: Aunt Maria's health seems much improved from way she writes, 10 Aug 1949, London.

Hannah married Charles Colburn, son of John Colburn and Mary Hebden. (Charles Colburn was born in 1864 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England, died on 4 Feb 1941 in Morecambe, Lancashire, England and was buried in Morecambe, Lancashire, England.)
