Birth and death Patrick Johnson email 17 Oct 2007.

On son James's baptism name is spelt Alise see email from Howard Travis.
8/29/09 1841 census Hallis aged 65. Changed year of birth to agree with 1841 census. Possibly to revise.
11/9/09 email 10/27/09 from patjohnson said he had the death certificate and wrote life was 1770 to 1851. This is in contradiction to age on 1841 census but then the '41 census may not have had actual age, just rounded age. Need to look at my search for birth records as I thought I had searched for Walker a while ago.
11/18/09 Brian Lewis has birth as 1770
11/23/09 added burial from Christine Hemsworth. It says she was 78 so that would put the birth 3 years earlier than the 1776 that is there now. This is pending. Christine indicates she was born in Bramwith. On LDS there are no Walker births shown for Kirk Bramwith 1771-1775

Alice married Matthias Travis, son of James Travis and Unknown, on 28 Jul 1799 in Thorne, Yorks, England.¹²³⁸ (Matthias Travis was born in May 1768 in Adwick upon Dearne, died in May 1839 in Bramwith, Yorks, England and was buried on 19 May 1839 in Barnby Dun, Yorks, England ¹²⁴⁰.)

• Marriage: Matthias Travis & Alice Walker, 28 Jul 1799, Kirk Bramwith, Yorkshire, England. Original page from church but it is not clear which Parish. It said Matthias was of Parish of Barnby Dunn. Was by Banns. Benj. Johnson ? was Minister. Both groom and bride just made "Marks". Witness ? Banks and George ?
