Added 8/30/09 IGI C106251. He is 5 on 1841 Census living with Grandfather.
1881 census living with mother aged 44, Farmer, but the relationship is inferred. Looks like Sarah had him has an umarried mother and later married James Sykes.
FreeBMD shows him dying at the age of 70 in Thorne in Dec 1906.
11/9/09 PatJohnson said he had death certificate and confirms birth years.

Need to look at original and enlarge to get the first name but it is Matthias. Data entry on census is next but one to Matthias

• 1871 Census Stainforth, Travis: Matthias Travis aged 33, unmarried, born Bramwith, 2 Apr 1871, Burns Street, Sand Bramwith, Stainforth, Yorks, England. ¹⁶²⁵

• 1881 Census Bramwith Travis Matthias: Matthias aged 44 farmer, born Bramwith, unmarried, boarder, 3 Apr 1881, Bramwith, Stainforth in Thorne, Yorks, England. ¹⁶²⁶ census place Stainforth in Thorn

• 1891 Census, Bramwith Rd., Travis: Matthias Travis, aged 50, Unmar, Farmer born Stainforth, 5 Apr 1891, Bramwith Rd, Stainforth with Bramwith. ¹⁶²⁷ He should be 55. but can't find any other Travis that might fit and he is living next to family

• 1901 Census Bramwith Travis Matthias: Matthias Travis Head aged 64 Farmer own account, born Bramwith, 31 Mar 1901, Bramwith, Stainforth in Thorne, Yorks, England. ¹⁶²⁸
